Hi, I’m Gemma the very dedicated and passionate Owner of the Beautiful Beauty Retreat & Laser Clinic. The Salon is proudly run in the heart of Old Portsmouth and has been my baby since 2004, crazy to think I’m 20 years in and still love this wonderful workspace.
I’ve done everything within The Beauty Retreat over the years, worked the hours, delivered all the services, lost the sleep, celebrated many successes, developed teams, expanded the business and still so grateful for this roller coster ride. What I’m most grateful for is the amazing Beauty Therapists I’ve had the pleasure in working with past & present over this time and their loyalty, dedication and commitment in helping me create the Beauty Retreat Brand of today……
These days I’m focusing more on specialised services such as Cryotherapy Lesion Removal and Laser Hair Removal whilst also working behind the scenes of the business so I can achieve the next 20 years of goals, its been great to step away from the salon floor and look deep into the wonderful runnings of The Beauty Retreat & become the Boss Lady who is now so strongly focusing on the team, developing, giving them a balanced work life balance and all the rewards they deserve when smashing their professional goals.
When I’m not in work mode, I’m a proud Mumma of 2 little people – Leo and Mya, I’m so very grateful to have met their Daddy who is also my world these days. Work life balance is so very important because we can have it all – if we focus, plan, love and laugh… I hope you all enjoy your experience at the Beauty Retreat & Laser Clinic and as always Thank You to you all for choosing us!!!

I LOVE every aspect of my job & interacting with all my lovely clients.
The Beauty Retreat has been my work home on & off for over 20 years with a little break to start my family. I can’t think of anywhere else I’d rather work.

Hi, I’m Donna, I have been in the beauty industry for over 20 years now, specialising in intimate waxing, known for offering a quick and as painless as possible service…… I adore facials and giving my clients the glow and confidence in their skin. I definately like to bring the therapy aspect to my treatments and love talking through clients problems and helping where I can. Although I LOVE all Beauty Treatments, my Favourites are Facials, all Nail Services, Eyelash Lifting and Brows Services.

I’m Emily, I’ve been in the beauty industry for over 9 years now, its a career I’ve always felt passionate about and wanted to do for as long as I can remember. The beauty industry is something that’s always evolving and I enjoy learning new things constantly throughout my career. There is no treatment I dislike, I enjoy having a variety of treatments each day, it means every day is different and unique.
I love working with Dermalogica, I completed my first course over 10 years ago whilst I was still at school, I’ve since continued this education path and become a Dermalogica Expert over 6 years ago now by working my way up through lots of courses to be able to offer high strength facial peels and many more advanced facials.
